Ridge Street School Announces Spelling Bee Winners

Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School in the Blind Brook School District held a spelling bee last week for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders. Students in each grade were split into two groups and competed within their grades. There were two winners for each grade.

The following students won their respective spelling bees: third-graders Lauren Kim and Matias Otero; fourth-graders Dylan Garber and Ava Pallotta; and fifth-graders Abe Baker-Butler and Ethan Berman. Winners will be recognized at a Board of Education meeting in June.
