2 Kids In Car When Driver Arrested For Felony DWI On I-95: NYSP
The Stamford man tested positive for alcohol impairment after being stopped in Rye, according to New York State Police.

RYE, NY — A Connecticut man was arrested in Westchester County for potentially putting the lives of two children at risk, according to state police.
On March 29, around 3:31 a.m., New York State Police said that troopers from Tarrytown stopped a Honda CRV traveling north on I-95, in the city of Rye.
While speaking with the driver, 37-year-old Leopoldo Lima Flores, of Stamford, the troopers noticed signs of intoxication, according to police. He was administered field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test, which were positive for alcohol impairment, according to NYSP.

The troopers say that two children under the age of 16 were also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Lima Flores was arrested for DWI and two counts of aggravated DWI Leandra's Law, and taken to state police barracks in New Rochelle for processing. He was also issued several traffic tickets.

State police said the children were turned over to his wife, who was in the vehicle at the time.
Lima Flores was also released to his wife, and is scheduled to appear in Rye City Court on Apr. 24.
