Central Amusement International LLC Makes Bid to Operate Rye Playland: Report
County officials said the park experienced a relatively good 2014 season, but it has struggled financially in recent years.

Central Amusement International LLC, which is headquartered in New Jersey but has a parent company in Italy, has made a bid to operate Westchester County-owned Rye Playland, according to a report in the Westchester Business Journal.
CAI is one of two companies, the other being Standard Amusements LLC, are considered to be the frontrunners to possibly operate the attraction, which officials said experienced a relatively good 2014 season but has struggled financially in recent years.
The company recently made a presentation outlining its plan at a meeting in Rye organized by County Legislator Catherine Parker.
