CT Man Who Crossed The State Line With A Loaded Firearm Is Arrested In Rye: Police
His privilege to drive in NY was suspended when he was pulled over for improperly displayed plates and dark tinted windows, cops said.

CITY OF RYE, NY — A quick trip to the other side of the Byram River could end up costing a Connecticut man dearly.
The City of Rye Police Department says that on Tuesday, shortly before 11 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on the I-95 North ramp, off Midland Ave., for an improperly displayed license plate and dark window tint.
During the stop, the driver identified himself as 29-year-old Dancarli Pascual of Stamford, Connecticut.

The officer discovered that Pascual's privilege to drive in New York was currently suspended.
During the traffic stop, Pascual disclosed he had a Ruger Max 9mm firearm in the car with a valid Connecticut carry permit, according to police.

The officer determined that Pascual violated NYS Law by crossing state lines with a loaded firearm. He was arrested and taken to Rye Police Department headquarters for processing.
Pascual was charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation.
He is due back in Rye City Court on April 7.
