Delays Anticipated For New Haven Line Wednesday

RYE, NY — Because of continuing track repairs in the vicinity of the Rye Metro-North station, there will likely be delays. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said Metro-North will operate regular New Haven Line service. However, customers should anticipate delays of 10 to 15 minutes.

Bridge plates are being used on the inbound platforms between Greenwich and Rye stations. Customers should use caution and not wait on the bridge plate for your train.

There was a minor derailment on a Metro-North train Thursday, May 18 near the Rye station. There were no injuries or cars on their sides.
