DNA Public Relations Appoints Armonk Resident to Vice President

Leading Westchester County-based firm also welcomes a Sr. Account Director

DNA Public Relations, a full service PR firm representing domestic and global beauty brands, has announced the promotion of Armonk Resident Barbara Accetta from Account Director to Vice President. The firm also welcomes Rachael Diamond as a Sr. Account Director.

After joining DNA Public Relations in May 2013 as an award-winning PR Director, Barbara led a roster of national beauty brands and spearheaded initiatives beyond her role to include revamping business practices and single-handedly rebranding the agency, from logo to online presence. She established the “Get Beauty-Full with DNA” Internship Program, which ensures hands-on experience across all aspects of the industry and has led to successful job placements among participants, and implemented staff incentives resulting in improved work performance and internal growth. In addition to her contributions within agency operations, Barbara continues to lead public relations efforts for a wide range of accounts and has been instrumental in the success of DNA’s social media management services.

“Within a very short time after joining DNA, Barbara was seen as a mentor and a role model by her teammates and built an impressive list of accomplishments both internally and among her clients,” said Lauren Kahn, Partner & President, DNA Public Relations. “Her varied contributions to the agency and contagious passion for the development of both people and business make her a natural fit for the position of Vice President.”
