acoustics present in the tile-walled Carriage House. Many of John Jay's descendants attended Yale as did several close Jay family friends including Ryeresident, James Fenimore Cooper.
Since 1914, the signature of a Yale Spizzwinks concert is perfect harmony, infectious enthusiasm, creative choreography and engaging wit. Maintaining a broad repertoire of exclusively original arrangements from the past 90 years - jazz standards, ballads, Broadway show tunes, pop and rock music, traditional Yale College songs, and humorous numbers - their perfect blend of humor, musicality and showmanship never fails to elicit a standing ovation. They have performed at Carnegie Hall and the White House. Favorite songs include "No Regrets," "Grapevine," "Shenandoah," "Somebody to Love," "Moon River" and more.
