"NatureArt," a show of oil pastel paintings by Judy Wine, are on display at the Rye Free Reading Room from November 22 through December 29. A reception for the artist will be held on December 5. The exhibited works reflect Wine's appreciation and close observation of the beauty of nature. Being an avid environmentalist who believes that "we need people to love and care about nature," the artist will give a copy of The American Lawn: Lethal and Boring to everyone who comes to her reception to encourage them to provide for wildlife and wildflowers on the property.
