Irish Tea and Stories from the Old Sod With Patrick Ahern and Marianne McShane

Enjoy Irish soda bread, cheese and tea, and laugh and tear up as a pair of Irish natives share their recollections and stories at the Rye Free Reading Room on Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m.  Patrick A. Ahern, a longtime Rye resident now living in Harrison, was born and grew up in County Limerick.  He returns to the library for the fourth year to reminisce about his youth. Joining him is Marianne McShane, a noted storyteller who delights audiences with folktales drawn from her own roots in Northern Ireland.
