The Rye Free Reading Room invites teens to “Airplanes to Origami” at the library on Friday, July 29, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The traditional Japanese art of paper folding gets a green twist in this workshop using paper taken from the recycling bin. Artist Susan Ordahl shows teens how to create 3-dimensional objects from flat sheets of discarded paper. Space is limited; call 914-231-3161 to register.
