THE JEFFERSON KEY: MEETING NY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR STEVE BERRY

Writer Steve Berry (www.steveberry.org) has been compared to such iconic authors as Ian Fleming, and has become a fixture on The New York Times Bestsellers List, with 11 million books in print in over 50 countries.  On November 3, Mr. Berry presents his latest historical thriller, The Jefferson Key, blending history and suspense at the Jay Heritage Center, a National Historic Landmark site in Rye.  Proceeds benefit The Jay Heritage Center (www.jaycenter.org) and The Preservation League of New York State (www.preservenys.org).  Admission fee includes a cocktail hour catered by Watson's of Greenwich, beginning at 6 PM in the Jay Mansion.  Mr. Berry will be on site to meet attendees at the reception and will begin his remarks at 7 p.m.  The presentation will be followed by a book-signing.  Books will be available for sale, or, guests may choose to bring their own copies to be autographed.  $35 for the general public. $25 for members of Jay Heritage Center, $25 for members of the Preservation League. Students and educators may call ahead to request complimentary seats. Dress code is business-casual.  Free off-street parking available.  Reservations are strongly encouraged but are not required.  Tickets are payable by cash, check, or credit card, over the phone, by mail, or in person.  JHC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  To reserve seats or find out more about JHC and its programs, contact Program Director Heather Craane.  This evening is made possible through History Matters, a foundation created by Steve and Elizabeth Berry.
