'The World Through My Eyes' An Opening Artist Reception for Elizabeth B. Derderian

“The World Through My Eyes,” a show of recent paintings by Elizabeth B. Derderian, will be on exhibit at the Rye Free Reading Room from April 6 through May 11.  A reception to open the show will be held on Saturday, April 9, from 2 - 4 p.m.  The artist employs a variety of moods and lighting in her realistic paintings of local scenes including Playland and Rye streets.  She has won top prizes in national shows and, most recently, had her work appear in the June 2010 issue of American Artist Magazine.
