Memo to Joe Sack: Just because you say you and the City of Rye do not discriminate doesn’t mean you don’t. I think a good comparison would be Sack saying he is open and transparent when he is not.

If it is records that Sack, the Rye City Council and the City of Rye don’t want to provide and maintain in order to get this free $3,000,000 plus $300,000 free money to administer the free $3,000,000 to help fix Rye’s flooding problems, what does Sack, the Rye City Council and the City of Rye have to hide?

Are Sack. the Rye City Council and the City of Rye going to deprive Rye’s taxpayers of $3,000,000 to help fix Rye’s flooding problems because they don’t want to provide and maintain records?

Could racial or other discriminatory factors be in play here as far as Sack, the Rye City Council and the City of Rye actually debating whether or not to accept this free $3,000,000 because the money is coming from HUD?

If Sack, the Rye City Council and the City of Rye turn down this free $3,000,000 to help alleviate Rye’s flooding problems, perhaps there should be a criminal investigation into why.

What happened to Sack’s pledge for openness and transparency?
