Hope's Door to Hold Spring Gala in Rye April 24
The event will honor Waccabuc resident Ingrid Connolly for her more than 20 years of service to the group.

Hope’s Door, a nonprofit based in Pleasantville that “seeks to end domestic violence and to empower victims to achieve safety, independence, and healing from the trauma of abuse,” will honor Waccabuc resident Ingrid Connolly at its Spring Gala on April 24.
The group is celebrating 35 years of service to victims of domestic violence and their families throughout Westchester county, and will hold the event at The Apawamis Club in Rye.
Connolly is being honored “for her dedication to Hope’s Door’s mission for more than two decades,” according to the group.

“Ingrid’s dedication to our mission is outstanding,” said Carl La Horton, Hope’s Door Executive Director, in a prepared statement. “Her ongoing support for over two decades is a key component of our ability to offer vital services to those we serve. We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to spotlight her for her personal commitment to Hope’s Door and the victims and their children that we serve.”
Added Connolly, “The work of Hope’s Door has been very important in our community for so many years, and has helped so many families in crisis. We provide them with comfort, necessities, and support. We help them rebuild their lives so that they can move on.”
