International Friendship Day to Be Held at Rye Playland
The day features a $15 rides admission special.

RYE, NY — International Friendship Day will be celebrated Sunday, August 7 at Playland Park in Rye.
The county’s Parks Department is offering a $15 rides admission special for the entire day.
“Playland has always been a great place to bring old friends and meet new ones, so the special activities and discounted admission pricing planned for International Friendship Day are even more great reasons to come out to the park,” County Executive Robert Astorino said.

There will also be representives from the 95.5 WPLJ Street Team, the Westchester Knicks, the New York City Football Club and the Westchester County Police K-9 Unit will be on hand with activities and giveaways.
In addition to regular programming, Pete & Chris Magic shows will be in Kiddyland at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Singer-songwriter Allison Altschiller will perform on the main stage at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Parking for the day will be $15.
