Popular Restaurant in Rye Town Park Closes Its Doors
Negotiations between the town and the owner were not successful.
RYE, NY — Months after unsuccessful negotiations between the Rye Town Park Commission and the owner of Seaside Johnnies, the waterfront restaurant has closed its doors.
The commission will have to find a replacement for the moneymaking space, which was vacated Friday, for the coming season, the Journal News said.
One possible replacement is a food truck.
