Questionable Report of Dog Attack at Rye Town Park; Injured Deer

 Dog Attack at Rye Town Park Reported

Police received a report that a man was attacked by dogs at Rye Town Park on March 15 at 5:39 p.m.  According to the police report, the man did not present the facts very clearly and referenced a Rottweiler from Bronxville. He did not want to make an official report. Two bystanders told police the man was “ a little off.”

Neighbor Troubles

On March 16 at 12:06 a.m. a Dearborn Avenue man reported he was being harassed by his upstairs neighbor who he said he had an order of protection against. Police did not hear noise when they arrived on scene and the upstairs tenant did not answer their knocks.

Broken Window Reported

On March 16 at 8:31 p.m. police received a report that a back window was broken at a Midland Avenue home, where it was unknown if the home was occupied. Police canvassed the area and all appeared normal.

 

Injured Deer

A Fieldstone Road resident reported an injured deer on their property. No action was taken; the deer had an injury to its hind leg and small children were home in the residence, the police report states.
