Rock Icon Robert Plant to Play The Capitol Theatre Sept. 25

The Led Zeppelin icon, known as one of the world’s greatest vocalists and one of rock’s most captivating frontmen, will perform in support of his new album ‘Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar,’ which the New York Times described as “hypnotic world grooves mesh with blues and country, as loops and programming mingle with banjo, electric guitars, synthesizers and a one-stringed West African fiddle.”

Plant has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won multiple Grammys, and was knighted for his services to music. He collaborated with Alison Krauss and T Bone Burnett on their critically lauded album ‘Raising Sand,’ joined Patty Griffin in Band of Joy, and reunited with Led Zeppelin in London in 2012 for a sold-out recorded performance that won the Grammy for best rock album.

The show, which is sold out, is at 8 p.m. on Sept. 25 (doors open at 7 p.m.). Tickets were $105.50 and $75.50.
