Rye Dog Owners: Be Sure to Obtain a License
A license for an altered dogs costs $15, and $23 for an unaltered dogs.

The City of Rye issued the following statement to remind dog owners to obtain a license for their canine friend:
New York State requires all dogs over the age of (4) months to be licensed. Dog licenses are issued in the City Clerk’s Office by mail or in person.

Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination
Name of manufacturer and batch number or rabies vaccine

Date of vaccination and expiration
Fees for license: $15.00 for altered dogs
$23.00 for unaltered dogs
In addition, The City Clerk’s office issues “Off-Leash Permits” for Rye Town Park. There is no fee for Off-Lease Permits this year.
