SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11

Help keep a tally of as many bird species as you can count in one day from a single position. Come anytime and stay for as long as you like.

Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Route 35 and 121 South, Cross River -- (914) 864-7322

Survive! – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Join the Trailside staff for the annual Alternate Reality Game for ages 10 – 12. Fee $25 includes craft materials, code sheets and survival rations; pre-registration required.

Friends of Read Annual Meeting – 11 a.m. – noon

All are welcome to meet the board members and find out what’s been accomplished in the past year, followed by luncheon. Co-sponsored by Friends of Read Wildlife Sanctuary.
