Rye's Wainwright House Launches Annual Fundraising Effort

Wainwright House, the oldest nonsectarian, nonprofit holistic learning center in the United States, has launched its annual fundraising drive.

The Rye-based facility is seeking to raise $30,000, reports MyRye.com, and it has set up a webpage to take donations.

“Your involvement at this time is critical in preserving the tranquility and sacredness of this land with its five acres of lawns and gardens and its historic and timeless buildings,” officials wrote in a statement. “This historic house can be sustained only through the financial support of our members and donors.”
