Winter Solstice Celebration @ Wainwright House - Sunday, December 21

WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION Sunday, December 21, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Join us for the Winter Solstice Celebration, where we connect ourselves to nature. The evening consists of a fire ceremony and drumming with Susan Wright, teacher of Shamanic practices. The winter solstice is one of the greatest events on the calendar cycle. No matter what our spiritual beliefs, or what part of the world we live, we all share the turning of the sun on the solstices. And, we respect the solstice through a ritual that honors our ancestors, belief system, and a way of offering prayer and gratitude.
