4 Suffolk Retail Clerks Busted For Selling Booze, Liquid E-Nicotine To Kids: Police
The busts took place in an investigation prompted by community complaints in the 6th Precinct area, Suffolk police said.
SELDEN, NY — Four retail employees are facing misdemeanor charges of unlawfully dealing with a child after Suffolk police say they were caught selling Monday alcohol and liquid e-nicotine to minors at businesses in the 6th Precinct.
A 53-year-old East Patchogue man, who is an employee of Club House Café in Centereach, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child for selling alcohol to a person under the age of 21, police said.
Three others were charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child for selling vape products to a person under the age of 21, police said.

Those charged, according to police, include a 24-year-old from Amityville who works for Cards & Smoke Vape Shop in Farmingville; a 25-year-old from Port Jefferson Station, who works at Happy Daze in Ronkonkoma, and a 57-year-old from Medford, who works at Shell gas station in Centereach.
All four people were issued Field Appearance Tickets returnable to First District Court in Central Islip on April 28.

The charges were brought after Crime Section officers from the 6th Precinct in Selden where prompted by community complaints to probe the sale of alcohol and liquid nicotine to minors at 10 businesses, four of which had violations, police said.
