HOLBROOK, NY — Arson Squad detectives were called to investigate a fire at a Holbrook office complex where workers escaped to safety on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.
The fire broke out at the Lincoln Avenue business at around 8:15 a.m., and the building was evacuated, according to police.
The Town of Islip Fire Marshal's office was also called to the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
It was one of at least three fires that Arson investigated locally this week.
A six-alarm blaze was investigated at a Rocky Point home on Wednesday.
Detectives are also investigating a two-alarm fire that broke out at a Stony Brook home early Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.
It started in a bathroom at the Salem Drive home just after 4 a.m., and all of the people inside the home were able to escape to safety, according to police.
The fire was extinguished by the Setauket and Stony Brook fire departments, police said.
No injuries were reported.
