Car Knocks Fence Down, Strikes Cessna Plane At Long Island MacArthur Airport
The car crashed through a fence at around 9:15 p.m., authorities said.

RONKONKOMA, NY — A car drove through a fence and struck a Cessna airplane at Long Island MacArthur Airport on Tuesday, an airport spokeswoman said.
The car drove through the fence at Heritage Flight Academy, knocking it down at around 9:15 p.m., according to Caroline Smith, spokeswoman for Islip Town, which operates the airport.

The plane was unoccupied at the time of the crash, a Suffolk police spokeswoman said.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the crash.
