Charity Car Show, Holiday Collection Drive Slated For Town Hall

The Brookhaven Youth Bureau INTERFACE Program and All Suffolk Car Club Will team up Nov. 7.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — The Brookhaven Town Youth Bureau INTERFACE Program and All Suffolk Car Club’s annual charity car show, food, and toy drive will be held on Nov. 7 at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville.

It will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

During the car show and drive, All Suffolk Car Club members will be displaying their cars in Town Hall’s south parking lot to raise donations for families in need. Admission to the event is free, but cash donations will be accepted.

Organizers are asking attendees to bring non-perishable food items for INTERFACE’s Thanksgiving Food Drive, as well as new, unwrapped toys for children to open during the holiday season.

The event will include live music and entertainment, a silent auction, and raffles, as well as free food, including chili, hotdogs, bagels, rolls, cookies, and beverages.

INTERFACE is a partnership between individuals, corporate neighbors, and is comprised of about 150 corporations, not-for-profit agencies, community, and fraternal organizations, according to a news release. The organization has a common purpose to help Brookhaven’s less fortunate residents and addresses social issues, according to a news release.
