The budget raises taxes two percent for the average homeowner and includes small raises for some elected officials and town's unions. - ICYMI: Police release vehicle description in deadly Holbrook hit-and-run. A white Jeep Grand Cherokee model year 2016 or newer with right front quarter panel damage is the vehicle police are telling the public to look out for. Alan Lepre, 59, was left for dead on Veterans Memorial Highway early Sunday after being hit by the vehicle. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS.
