Hate Crimes Unit Investigating Farmingville Assault
Police ask for help to find three men behind an assault that occurred in June. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police on Thursday asked for public’s help to track down three men who assaulted a man who was riding his bicycle in Farmingville in June.
Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are investigating the incident, which occurred on Granny Road at about 12:30 a.m. on June 30.
Police say a 42-year-old Hispanic man was riding his bicycle when he was knocked off the bike and repeatedly kicked by three white men.

All the assailants were described as approximately 20-24 years-old. One of the men appeared to have darker skin and a beard. One of the other two suspects also had a beard, police say.
The men fled east on Granny Road in a newer-model light brown pickup truck with an extended cab, police say.
