CENTEREACH, NY — A man was struck and seriously injured in Centereach on Friday night, Suffolk police said.
Police said officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Middle Country Road near Hammond Lane at about 5:50 p.m. A man was transported to a local hospital “in serious condition,” according to police. His identity has not been released.
The 6th Detective Squad is investigating the crash.
