Motorcyclist Killed In Suffolk Crash Friday Afternoon
The 50-year-old man was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Suffolk police said.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in a Farmingville crash on Friday afternoon, Suffolk cops say.
At about 4:20 p.m., Kevin Buttigieg was driving a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Lakeside Drive when it crashed with a westbound 2012 Nissan Maxima turning left into a driveway on Lakeside Drive, according to police.
Buttigieg, 50, of Farmingville, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said, adding, that the driver of the Nissan was not injured.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call the 6th Squad at 631-854-8652.
