Here are the top three stories in Sachem today:
- A person was struck by train on Ronkonkoma line Thursday afternoon. The person was hit in Bethpage and service was suspended both ways in the early afternoon. The person's condition was unclear as of this writing. (Sachem Patch)
- Bikers will take to the road next month for a good cause. "The Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau INTERFACE program will host the Red Knights Motorcycle Club New York Chapter 26 Teddy Bear Run on Nov. 20." The run will collect donations of new Teddy Bears for thousands of children in need who live in the township. Registration starts the morning of the run at 10:30 a.m., at the Terryville Fire Department Station 3. (Sachem Patch)
