Ronkonkoma Civic Association Holds First Meeting
Politicians, community members join at Ronkonkoma Fire Department.

Multiple politicians spoke with members of the newly-formed Ronkonkoma Civic Association of Islip, which held its first meeting on Jan. 26 at the Ronkonkoma Fire House.
The civic association was formed as a voice for the community to address the concerns of local residents, according to a release issued by Assemblyman Al Graf.
The group arose out of concern pertaining to the growing heroin epidemic across the state and the impact that this issue has on the quality of life in Long Island communities.
