- Check out the latest Town of Brookhaven police blotter. The newest police blotter from March 10 has been released by the Suffolk County Police Department. You can see local crimes and arrests in the area in the report. If you have any information on a crime, you can call Suffolk County Crimestoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Sachem Patch)
- Two people arrested in connection with early Monday Ronkonkoma robbery. "Officers responded to a 911 call for a robbery that took place on Railroad Avenue at about 2:10 a.m., according to police. No one was injured, police said. No other details, including the names of the arrestees, which would have been made public in court at their arraignments, were released by police." This is now the second violent robbery in a week in Ronkonkoma. (Sachem Patch)
- Local weather for the weekend brings rain, wind, and snow. As we look to the weekend forecast, another wild weather pattern is in store for us. Friday will be a nice day with a high near 50, but Saturday morning brings a storm that packs rain and snow, and temperatures are supposed to drop in the afternoon when winds will pick up. Sunday will be cold and windy with temperatures only reaching a high of 37 degrees. Plan accordingly! (Sachem Patch)
