- Sports and entertainments venue might be canned from the proposed Midway Crossing air terminal and convention center in Ronkonkoma. The 2.7 million square-foot project includes an indoor arena and outdoor venue, health sciences facilities, a hotel, and a new terminal for MacArthur Airport. In recent developments, an agreement was reached between lawmakers and Chicago based developer JLC to remove the venues. (Sachem Patch)
- Winning NY Lotto tickets sold in Suffolk, one in Holbrook. The local winner was from Monday night's Take 5 drawing, and the $33,024 ticket was purchased at Elite Group Holbrook on Veterans Highway, according to officials. (Sachem Patch)
