🌱 Sachem Daily: Tex Mex One-day Popup + Positivity Rate At 1%
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Sachem.

Happy Wednesday, Sachem! Here's everything you need to know to start today off on an informed note, shall we? Here are the most important things happening in town today.
First, today's weather:
Sun mixing with clouds. High: 47 low: 36.
Here are the top 3 stories today in Sachem:
- Habanero's Tex Mex may return for one day pop-up if demand is there. Who remembers Habanero's Tex Mex? They closed in 2018, but owner Brian Kiley is debating a one-night popup for loyal customers. "Well I have read all of your posts and private messages ….. it's truly amazing that after all this time I'm still missed," Kiley wrote. "I have a location in mind to possibly create a pop-up Habanero's night …. I'm willing to commit and put the work into a limited menu." The establishment announced its closure in 2018, with shock from the local community. (Sachem Patch)
- Take a look at the real estate roundup for Sachem. As the real estate market is still buzzing, there are plenty of homes to recently hit the market. We collaborate with Redfin to show you these homes and any upcoming open houses that you can check out. Click on pictures of the home for more information on the listing. (Sachem Patch)
- COVID-19 case update as schools drop mask mandate. In positive news, we've updated you far less on COVID-19 numbers as the pandemic hopefully comes to an end. With schools ending the mask mandate today, we figured it would be good to give one more update on what's going on. There will be no more updates in the newsletter unless numbers dramatically change. In the latest report, there were only 67 positive COVID-19 cases, and a 1% seven-day positivity rate. (Press Release Desk)
