Sachem Schools To Host Meet The Candidates Night
Local candidates will be on hand to meet members of the community they hope to govern.
On Tuesday, October 23, the Sachem Legislative Committee will be hosting a Meet the Candidates night to give local residents an opportunity to learn about their positions on education and other local issues.
The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Board of Education room at Samoset Middle School. Organizers have distributed a flyer announcing the informal meeting.
"Please join us so the candidates may get to know us as caring community members and voters," the flyer states. "Let's be a strong voice for education!"
