Suspect Snatched Wallet From Car At IHOP In Lake Ronkonkoma: PD
It was taken from a vehicle parked in the lot outside the eatery on Halloween, Suffolk police said.
RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who stole a wallet containing credit cards from a vehicle at IHOP in Lake Ronkonkoma on Halloween.
Police said the man stole the wallet from a vehicle that was parked in a lot at the Portion Road eatery. The crime has been classified as grand larceny.
In images pulled from surveillance video, the man was wearing a baseball cap and a dark-colored hoodie pulled up over his head, as well as blue jeans, and dark shoes. He can be seen holding his hand up to his face as though he is talking on a cell phone.

The police did not release any further details.
Suffolk’s Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the theft can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
