14th Annual Civil War Weekend To Take Place In Sayville
Watch civil war battle reenactments on Saturday and Saturday at Islip Grange Park.
SAYVILLE, NY — If you've ever wanted to take a time machine to the past, it may be your lucky day.
The 67th New York Volunteer Infantry will be hosting the 14th Annual Civil War Weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the Islip Grange, located at 10 Broadway Ave. in Sayville.
According to its website, participants can "step into the 1860's" and witness battle reenactments, listen to period music, observe artillery and medical demonstrations, among other immersion experiences.

The family-friendly event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. It is also free admission and will have free parking.
