The gift choices at Seafarer, on Main Street in Sayville, run the nautical mile from handmade sea glass jewelry to dining decor, housewares and decorative touches that any homeowner living on an island or beach lover would enjoy.

There are handpainted ornaments from Long Island artists, sea shell treasure boxes made by local craftspeople, a unique mermaid figurine and jewelry any woman would welcome.

Located at 28 Main, Seafarer's hours are 11 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesay; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The store will be offering expanded hours closer to the holiday.
