29-Year-Old Man Charged in 2 Suffolk Bank Robberies
BREAKING: He was arrested after robbing a bank Monday morning, police say.
A 29-year-old man is accused of robbing two Suffolk County banks.
Michael Sullivan, of Bohemia, was arrested on Monday after he robbed a Bohemia bank, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, Sullivan entered People’s United Bank located at 3460 Veterans Memorial Highway at about 11:30 a.m. and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with his demands and gave him cash from the drawer, police said.

Sullivan then fled the bank, but Fifth Precinct officers were able to track him down, police said. An investigation by detectives determined that Sullivan also robbed a People’s United Bank in Babylon last Thursday, police said.
Sullivan is charged with two counts of third degree robbery. He will be held overnight at the Fifth Precinct in Patchogue and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
