What: Purchase a boat ramp permit to launch a boat

Where: If you live in Bayport, it's Homan Creek on Paulanna Avenue. Blue Point residents can launch from the Corey Beach Ramp on Corey Avenue.
Located on the beautiful shoreline of The Great South Bay, residents of Bayport and Blue Point have access to ramps for putting your boat or personal watercraft into the water.

There is a boat ramp at Homan Creek on Paulanna Avenue in Bayport (Town of Islip). To get a boat ramp permit you need boat registration, trailer registration, drivers license and a tax or utility bill- all with the same address- in the Town of Islip. It's $65 for the season and expires in February. Residents 60 and older can pay half-price for a boat ramp permit. Access to the boat ramp is available 24 hours a day.
Brookwood Hall at 50 Irish Lane in East Islip is where you can purchase a boat ramp permit. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m., with late hours on Thursday until 6:15 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call Town Hall at 631-224-5648 for more information.
In Blue Point, which is in the Town of Brookhaven, there is the Corey Beach ramp at the end of Corey Avenue. A ramp permit is $75 and is good for the season, April-November. To get a ramp permit for the Corey Beach ramp you must provide proof of residency in the Town of Brookhaven: Driver’s license, boat registration and trailer registration.
There are two places to get a ramp permit for Brookhaven (Blue Point) residents: The Sandspit Marina on Brightwood Street in Patchogue and Forge River Marina on Ocean Avenue and Riviera Drive in Mastic.
