Bayport resident Rich Baker was elected to the executive board of the New York State Association of Town Superintendents of Highways at their convention in Buffalo last month.

The Islip Town Department of Public Works Commissioner is one of 16 voting members representing 932 towns for the association throughout New York State, handling the downstate counties of Suffolk, Nassau, Westchester as well as the five boroughs of New York City.
