Ballet and Books Story Time for Charity
The Helping Hearts Club is hosting a story time event for 4 to 6 year olds at Ovations Dance Academy. Proceeds go directly to First Book.
Wear your best tutu, and get ready for some stories, crafts and dance!!
The Helping Hearts Club is a community service organization made up of 7th grade girls who wanted to make a difference! They make sandwiches monthly for a local kitchen, have raised money for JDRF and Ronald McDonald House, and now they are hosting a story time event, BALLET AND BOOKS, to benefit the charity First Book. All proceeds go to help support children’s literacy and supply needy children with books.
Ovations Dance Academy opened their doors to this group of dedicated and motivated girls, and they are thrilled to support such a meaningful cause. The girls will read a story, supply the children with a craft, and teach them some beginner ballet steps. The $5 donation goes directly to the charity First Book to provide books to children in need.
