Bayport-Blue Point High School Earns AP School Honor Roll Silver Distinction

School earned silver distinction after 249 students took 617 AP exams in the 2024-25 school year, according to the College Board.

BAYPORT, NY — Bayport-Blue Point High School has been named to the 2025 Advanced Placement Program School Honor Roll, earning the silver distinction, according to an announcement from the College Board.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering strong academic outcomes for students while broadening access to rigorous coursework. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing a college-going culture, expanding opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.

During the 2024-25 school year, Bayport-Blue Point High School reported that 249 students in grades 10 through 12 took AP exams.

In total, students completed 617 AP tests. Of those, 88% scored a 3 or higher, while 55% earned a score of 4 or above.
