Meet & Greet with Long Island author Tara Healy
Join us on August 15th from 12-4pm for a Meet + Greet from Long Island author Tara Healy. The author will be selling and signing copies of her book, 'Volume of Forgotten Lore'.
About the book:
Tara Healy is back with another collection of chilling short pieces. Follow the lives of a substitute teacher as she navigates a class unlike any she's experienced before, a single mother attempting to keep her son safe from what lurks outside of their rural home, an old man and his dog who get a surprising visitor, and many many more in Volume of Forgotten Lore.
About the author
Tara Healy is a 24 year old author from Long Island, New York. She studied Creative Writing at Manhattanville University and the University of Edinburgh, where both schools’ architecture gave way to plenty of inspiration for a horror author. Besides short stories, Tara also loves writing scripts, specifically radio plays. Her newest radio play, Finding Jane May, will premiere in September 2026. When not writing, you can find Tara reading, cooking, or hosting elaborate dinner parties with her friends.
