Connetquot Public Library: 40 and Fabulous

The library will be celebrating its rich history by honoring some of our very special residents on Sunday, November 22 from 1:30-4:30pm.  Throughout the year, these residents have generously shared their stories and the library has recorded their words and memories in commemoration of the library’s anniversary.  The interviewees will be in attendance for this special day.  The celebration continues with a 70s dance party complete with a DJ and local resident dance instructor Barry Masten, who will remind us of how to do the Hustle and the Bump.  There will be a per rock and a best 70s outfit competition with a prize awarded for each winner.  Refreshments and cake will be served.  The library
