Crowd Turns Out to Celebrate Earth Day in Sayville

A steady stream of local residents enjoyed the annual Town of Islip's Earth Day event, held this year at Gillette Park in Sayville. There was fun for the kids, information about recycling and eco-friendly options for parents and even a full street of vendors and organizations for shoppers and community residents. While cloudy skies lasted until late morning, the sun finally arrived as well.
