Did you know there is a Suffolk County Poet Laureate? There is, and he’ll be here! Join current Suffolk County Poet Laureate Edward Stever in this salute to National Poetry Month. Mr. Stever will conduct a reading of some of his award-winning poetry, plus there will be an open mike afterwards for anyone who would like to share their own poems. Light refreshments will be served. Program registration for Bayport-Blue Point Library patrons begins on Tuesday, February 28 at 10am. Program registration for non-residents will begin on Monday, March 5.
