Spring Yard Waste Collection - Town of Islip

Spring yard waste collection - unlimited leaf and brush.

All leaves, branches and brush must be placed at the curb for collection prior to 6 a.m.  Regular yard waste collection will resume after May 14, 2012.  There will be no yard waste collected with your garbage during this 5-week period (April 9-May 12).

To reduce reliance on plastic bags, leaves may be placed in trash cans or cardboard boxes.  Branches and brush must be tied in bundles.

The trash cannot bundles should not exceed 50 lbs.

Under Islip's "Don't Bag It!" program - no grass clippings will be collected.
