Bernard Rader will discuss his experience as a POW in France during World War II. Rader was part of a platoon that was sent on a mission to collect some German soldiers who said they wanted to surrender. It turned out to be an ambush and the platoon were taken as prisoners. Included in the program will be a film that tells the story of the platoons capture and eventual release arranged by a brave Red Cross representative, Andrew Gerow Hodges. Don't miss this fascinating and touching historical program!
